What is life?

Today I recieved the news that a very dear friend has passed away! Although I have known for sometime that she was going to die the news was still hard to bare. What is life? Ask my friend and she would have told you that it's all about family and love for one another! It's family dinners and converstations about nothing really. It's babies crying and childern laughing! It not what you own! It's not what you ware! It's not even who you are but it is about families and friends and loving and caring for them. It's about excepting life for what it is and making the most of it and being happy while you are living it! It's hard to let go of a loved one to death but it is only temperory! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! What a confort and blessing to know that my friend has left her poor tired deseased body and is now standing in the presence of our Lord full of happiness and pain free at last and looking forward to seeing us all once again. Good bye my dear friend! You died as you lived! Full of love in your heart for everyone that had the pleaseure of knowing you! You were loved by many! Memories are lifes true treasures! You can store them in your soul and vist them whenever you like! Thank you for the memories that we made over the years! I'll never froget you! You will be truly missed!

REMEMBER WHEN!

Remember when! I was little and now remember as I get bigger! My birthday is comeing soon! Do you know who I am? Hint: I will be 3 years old on May 25 2008! I have blonde hair and blue eyes and I'm a boy! My little brother's name is REYD. He hasn't had a birthday yet! I plan to share mine with him till he gets one! Can you guess who I am?

One thing I've learned

One thing I've learned over the years is to take life seriously! Time flies by much to quickly and even quicker as you get older! It seams like just yesterday that I became a moma and now I kinda traded that name in for Nana! Both of theses names are very dear to my heart. Because I carry these names in my life it has been richly emblelished with wonderful memories!
Just last week was Easter! I waited all year for this day beacuse I new my Childern would all be grathered around me! This doesn't happen as often as it once did due to the fact that my Childern have grown up and choose families and family lifes that don't always work out on everyones scedules! Well we had a beautiful time in those few short days and now just look at it it's been a week already and every one has pretty much gone on back to their lives and back to missing everyone again! You know what they say "Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder"! My childern and I made a lot of memories in just the few days we were together! It may have been only for a short time but the memories will last a life time! There is nothing in the world that I like better than to hang out with my girls and their beautiful childern. Being a mother and a grandmother is the best natural high there is! As long as I have them all close in my life I am a rich and very blessed lady! My grandchildern have grown so much. Just as their parents did they will be grown before you know it! The next time you think that time is dragging please stop and take my advise. It's not dragging it Racing away! Hold on to every minute you can and belive me even at that you will find that it can never be enough! Life is short! Hold your dear ones near and thank the Lord above every day for your blessings! I know I do! I can't wait for my childern and Grandchildern to get together again (even it it will be months away) so we can make some more wonderful treasured memories!

Everyday is a blessing from God! I truly belive in that! I myself have so much to be thankful for. God has blessed me and my family in so many ways! When I was in my early twentys I would have never guessed what God had in store for me. On March 1,1975 at 5:59 pm was when life started for me. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! I remember looking down at this tiny little person in my arms and thinking how perfect God had made her and how I was the most blessed woman in the whole world! My life changed that afternoon and I still thank God every day for his blessing to me! He was not finished yet! On Janurary 18,1978 at 3:01 pm I was blessed again with another beautiful baby girl! I remember the same feelings as I did with my first on that day and again on May 3,1979 at 3:02 pm when I gave birth to yet another beautiful baby girl!
The funny thing is that My Mother was 20 years old when she had me and I was 20 years old when I had my frist child. Of course we both had girls ( I have two sisters)! You see we were the same age and both of us had three girls. Well my lovely daughters decided to break the rules! They waited till their mid 20's and they all had a son. They had them in the order though, oldest to youngest. Then about a year ago my oldest gave birth to a baby girl. I think she must have felt sorry for me or something! No seriously I am very proud of my boys and my girl. I've never had so much fun in all my life as a matter of fact only two months ago my middle daughter had a baby son! On the other hand my sisters both had boys! My youngest sister has two sons and two granddaughters! My sister next to me is a late bloomer where grandchildern are concerned but their is hope. She has a married son now! One out of three. Untill then she is welcome to borrow one of mine!
Isn't it funny how life turns out! It's been thirty three years since this all started and it just gets better and better! Thanks girls! Your Mother is very proud of you and even prouder of your offspring! You know there is always room for one more at Nana's house and in Nana's heart!

Well hello! I'm trying this blog thing out although I have not a clue if I am even close to doing it right. I have five beautiful grandchildern! The blessings of my life! So if I have succeeded in setting this thing up right you will be hearing a lot about them from time to time. I have four grandsons and one granddaughter! The apples of my eye in deed! We have good times when we get together and everytime is a memory in the making! The best times of my life! Spoken from a real grandparent! Some I carry around on my hip on a regular bases and others I carry around in my heart because of the miles between us but I love each one of them little blessings with all my heart! When I have a memory to share with you then you will be hearing from me!
